Liebherr gas engines

Powerful, efficient and reliable

The gas engines from Liebherr are designed and manufactured as the diesel engines at Bulle in Switzerland. They are designed for stationary applications such as cogeneration and biogas plants. The gas engines are based on the proven Liebherr diesel engines and therefore cover the same range of 4-cylinder engine to the 12-cylinder engine in V-arrangement from. The spectrum ranges from 145 kW up to 515 kW of mechanical power at 50 Hz applications.

The success factors of reliability, availability and high efficiency ensure high efficiency of gas engines from Liebherr. In continuous operation required the engines are very reliable, high quality and durable. The gas engines are characterized by high power density, which contributes to the high mechanical efficiency of up to 42%.
